Responsibilities will include:

Standard operations production

Be involved in risk assessment / NPI process relating to process definition and subsequent Process FMEA production and review.

Liaise with Technical, Quality and Production with the objective of speedy progress of process definition and improvements.

Initial assurance that the process documentation / standard ops reflect the processes in practice

Assist quality department in investigation of customer returns and the completion of 8d reports where necessary.

Work closely with CI engineer in progressing continuous improvement / 5 s projects where appropriate Package Details: Permanent contract Salary up to £26,000 Requirements: HNC or HND in Engineering subject Green Belt six sigma / Lean Manufacturing or equivalent experience Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing / engineering environment Experience in conveying technical concepts to non technical staff Training in Six Sigma and lean manufacturing tools preferred Good general education Able to make recommendations and financial justification for equipment, or other resources as required Able to Identify an manage projects from initial start to successful completion.
